Embers to a Flame Conference Jan. 21-24, at Briarwood

Briarwood Presbyterian Church and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary are hosting the Embers to a Flame Conference at Briarwood, January 21-24, 2016.  The theme for this year’s conference is:  STRENGTHEN THE CHURCH – An Apostolic Mandate.

This is a time for pastors, church leaders, denominational leaders, and seminary students to come together to study the word of God and look at case studies of church revitalization through Titus, Timothy, Paul, and John.

Dr. Adam Greenway, Dean of Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Ministry of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, states,

“The ministry of church revitalization is one of the most critical needs in the body of Christ today.  I’m grateful for the work of Embers to a Flame and the priority they place on increasing church vitality.  If you are a church leader desiring a fresh touch from God that will transform the hearts and minds of both you and your congregation, then I can think of no better conference for you to experience that this one.”

Al Jackson, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church, Auburn, Alabama, states,

“I would encourage any pastor or layman to take advantage of the sound biblical strategies which are taught at the Embers to a Flame conference.  These strategies are transferable to any church in any geographical setting because they come from the Word of God.”
